CEWS was founded in 2000. It is "the national focal point to achieve equal opportunities between women and men in science and research in Germany. CEWS acts as a think tank for policy areas, is food for thought, initiated processes of change, that it accompanies and makes the necessary transfer processes between science and politics actively. "says the director Jutta Dalhoff.
