poetry album in 1919 (III)
From the poetry book by Anna Mayer from Wannweil (1905-1999)
the love
From the Father's house we moved out
protect hearth and home. Some brave
bloody ostrich.
Apply today to look back longingly to the faithful
place of our childhood happiness.
meantime, we also yet so far away, we like your thinking.
It blooms a little blue flowers, small and simple,
states Forget-me-not. And
mother thinks of us and she speaks softly:
my child forget me not.
In memory of your faithful friend
Louise Hafner
